Happy Halloween! Our 'hood just had our annual pumpkin carving party. I love my neighborhood. We have a carving party, people have garden parties (see the post form 8/1/2014, I'm so jealous), and every house on the street is different. Every house has something unique about it that I wish I had. But if I put all those elements together that I love, I'd have one seriously strange looking house. What does this have to do with food? Nothing! Well there was food there, but again I'm strapped for cash because my brother decided to have a theme wedding. VICTORIAN, of all things. Is he KIDDING? I'm stressing right now because it is the Sunday before and my dress and son #2's outfit and his Halloween costume are still en route via FedEx. No, I am not dressing up unless it involves pajamas. So I'm writing this blog to take my mind off of it. Luckily, though, my awesome friend H and I are going to the new Agra Culture location in Edina this week So then I will have pictures of food for you. And maybe after this I can finally add text to the last 8970137042 posts so you can enjoy these places too.
The downside to writing a blog. You buy things you wouldn't normally. Like these. And Frankenberry. And the Captain Crunch with the ghosts that turn the milk green. OK, maybe that is a nust-have. But, it is Halloween, and you can use these ghosts for food projects like this with your kids. We'll find out. #happysugareduphalloween
